Our next community Fun Day will take place here in the halls of Croftfoot UF Church. As we approach the season of Advent and look forward to sharing the Good News of the birth of Jesus, we love to celebrate ! In line with previous events we will have fun activities, refreshments and our grill will be ready to serve a hot snack !

The season of Advent lasts for four Sundays leading up to Christmas Day. This year Advent begins Sunday December 1st and ends on Christmas Eve Tuesday December 24th.
Why do we celebrate?
As Christians we follow the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, who we know to be the Son of God. Christmas celebrates Jesus' birth so the Advent period reminds us to remember to prepare for those celebrations and for the time when Jesus will come again.
